CNC Lathe & CNC Mill Machine Operator

  • As a Machine Operator for our client, your precision skills are critical to the smooth production of its products. You’ll be responsible for the CNC MILL & CNC LATHE machine operation and/or parts production process from set-up through unloading of finished product. Quality control rests on your good judgment and expertise.
  • Your days will be challenging, fast paced and satisfyingly productive.
  • You have the mechanical aptitude and skills for success. You understand the necessity of adhering to general operating procedures. Whether written or delivered verbally, you follow instructions. You’re comfortable with basic data entry and computers. You have 2-4 years of related manufacturing experience.

  • Job Duties:
  • Load parts in the machine
  • Load programs on the control, run the program
  • Quality Control – verify the dimensions by using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.
  • Experience operating either a CNC mill or a CNC lathe machine
  • Experience using measuring tools
  • Knowledge of G code programming (programming on the controls) is a definite asset
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs. (anything higher requires an extra person or lifting device)
