Several thousand youth are hired annually in a variety of summer student positions across the Ontario Public Service (OPS), its related agencies and community groups.

Summer employment opportunities are full-time, temporary positions ranging from 7 – 16 weeks between May and Labour Day. The wage for these opportunities is either $10.25 or $11.10 per hour, depending on the job.
